Countryside management (East Sussex County Council)
We manage a range of sites including heathland, marshes, sand dunes and ancient woodland. We provide opportunities for volunteering and run the Trainee Ranger course. We also organise guided walks and cycle rides which are often themed.

We look after the 3,500km of Public Rights of way in East Sussex, about 78% of these are footpaths, 17% are bridleways and 5% are byways open to all traffic.
